As the sun rose over Abuja, a moving Guard of Honour was mounted by the Nigeria Police Force in tribute to its 18th Inspector-General, Dr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase.
The solemn farewell, attended by dignitaries and officers, was led by current IGP Kayode Egbetokun, who hailed Arase as a man of rare integrity and strength of character.
With his remains en route to Edo State for burial, today marked not just a goodbye but a celebration of a life spent in loyal service to Nigeria.
