A human skull and ritual staff have been discovered during a raid on a church building under construction belonging to Prophet Chinedu Solomon Ezedike, a suspect in the murder of four siblings in Ibagwa-Aka, Enugu State.

The Chairman of the Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, who led the security operatives on the raid, acting on intelligence disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page.

According to Ukwueze, the location was suspected to be a site for ritual activities.

“We discovered a human skull and a ritual staff, lending further credence to the disturbing and tragic circumstances surrounding the claims and allegations against Ezedike,” Ukwueze stated.

The four siblings, Kamsiyochukwu Ezema (7), Ezinne Ezema (6), Ujunwa Ezema (5), and Chinedu Ezema (2), were brutally murdered with a pestle, allegedly by Ezedike.

Ukwueze assured that the government would leave no stone unturned in pursuing justice, saying, “Under the administration of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, there will be no hiding place for crimes of any form.”

He noted that the recovered items had been handed over to the police for further examination.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Enugu State, Daniel Ndukwe, said he was yet to be briefed on the recovery of the items.
