Tinubu Leads APC Delegation to Owerri, Set to Commission Uzodimma’s Projects, Launch 10-Year Party Record

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will, on the 30th of September 2025, lead governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leadership to unveil a book written by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, highlighting the APC’s achievements over its 10 years in power.

During the visit, President Tinubu and his entourage will also formally unveil several key legacy projects undertaken by Governor Uzodimma’s 3R Government for public use.

Governor Uzodimma hinted at the President’s planned visit while speaking to newsmen after inspecting the projects slated for commissioning.

Top on the list includes the completely rebuilt 26-kilometre Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia road, a new flyover linking Port Harcourt and Onitsha, as well as improvements to the Assumpta Cathedral roundabout in Owerri, and a brand new ultra-modern Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC), Owerri.

Governor Uzodimma said, “The APC is set to celebrate a decade of leadership in Nigeria with a significant meeting in Owerri, Imo State.”

He added: “All is set to host the President, as the guest of honour, along with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress at the newly constructed Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC), Owerri.”

“The meeting will launch and showcase a compendium detailing the achievements of the party, as compiled by a dedicated team led by the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum.”

“The event underscores the APC’s decade of leadership in Nigeria, highlighting tangible infrastructure progress and achievements in Imo State.”

“Residents of Imo State are jubilant, with an emphasis on the party’s performance and visionary leadership.”

“We are not talking about promises anymore. We are discussing performance, visionary leadership, and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Governor Uzodimma said emphatically, “President Tinubu is expected to commission several projects during his visit, including the Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia road, a new flyover, improvements at the Assumpta Cathedral roundabout, and the ultra-modern Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC).”

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work, noting that the contractors had no choice but to meet high standards, given his zero tolerance for substandard projects.
