The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma, has relieved the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. C.O.C. Akaolisa, of his duties as part of a minor cabinet reshuffle.

This adjustment in the State Executive Council is aimed at enhancing optimal performance and the effective delivery of services to the good people of Imo State, in alignment with the Governor’s administration goals.

The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, who stated that the removal takes immediate effect.

Barr. Akaolisa has been directed to hand over all government property in his possession to the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.
